Buff up all of your characters and adjust them to your liking. This open-source save game editor for Pillars of Eternity will be your new friend for modding the game. Currently the editor only supports Windows. Let’s take a look at some of the features available with this program: Automatic Updates – your game and editor will always be up. Would love to see a save editor for pillars similar to the one for fe3h from the fe3h hacking thread. It is very detailed and perfect for games like pillars (and the later dnd games that are coming). Or (but I prefer the save editor) having cheats for pillars would be nice.

I plan on getting pillars of eternity 2 deadfire and I'm wondering about the import save function. I have a safe file on the steam version of pillars 1 will I be able to import that save file into pillars of eternity 2 here on gog?

Cruised a bit on the Obsidian forums and it looks like it should work. References: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/97007-import-save-question/?

General discussionOn Linux, you can find your save game files in the following folder:
$XDG_DATA_HOME/PillarsofEternityII
$XDG_DATA_HOME is based off of the XDG Base Directory Specifications and typically defaults to $HOME/.local/share.
